Introduction
These are one of my favorite things to snack on! When they dry, they decrease in size tremendously, so start out with a lot. These are one of my favorite things to snack on! When they dry, they decrease in size tremendously, so start out with a lot.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
Portobella Mushrooms- 2lbs.
Greek seasoning to taste
Cooking spray
Tips
This can work in a conventional oven as well on a very low heat setting, but a dehydrator is easiest and more efficient as well.
Directions
Set up your dehydrator, and set the heat at medium.
Wash, clean, and dry mushrooms. For ease, use the giant caps.
Cut them in half across the top, then in slices about 1/4 inch thick.
Spray with cooking spray, and sprinkle with seasoning
Test mushrooms after 5 hours by taking one out and letting it cool. It should be crispy like a potato ship. If not, re-check them every 1/2 hour or so until done.
Serving Size: Makes 6 snack-sized servings
Number of Servings: 6
