Introduction

Adapted from Hallelujah Acres Vegan Hummus - I omitted the 1 Tbsp Olive Oil and substituted the Tahini for the Almond Butter that is in their recipe. I also substituted Herbamare Organic Seasoning Salt for Celtic Sea Salt, increased the amount of Cumin that is in their recipe. I added the water also. I usually double this recipe. Ingredients

    16 oz. can Garbanzo Beans (Organic) drained and rinsed
    3 Tbsp Organic Raw Tahini
    1/4 cup Organic Lemon Juice
    Can use 1 heaping Teaspoon of crushed Garlic in Olive Oil
    1-2 tsp Herbamare Organic Seasoning Salt or Celtic Sea Salt
    1 heaping teaspoon Organic Cumin
    Pinch of Cayenne or more to taste

Tips

Keeps refrigerated for several days. It usually does not last long in our house - it is a staple!


Directions

Blend all in Food Processor and add water slowly at the end - adjust amount of water depending on how thin you like your Hummus.

Serving Size: Makes 10, 1/4 cup servings
