Introduction

yummy chicken thats great for tacos or by itself yummy chicken thats great for tacos or by itself
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

2-3 large thawed skinless/boneless chicken breasts
lime juice to taste (I usually use about 1/4 cup)
1 16 oz jar salsa (I use Pace Picante sauce)
2 tablespoons taco seasoning (is ok without as well)
cilantro to taste (I usually use the leaves from 1 whole bunch)

Tips

Most ingredient amounts are to taste. If you like cilantro, add more, if not, only use a little. Same with lime juice and taco seasoning. I have left out the seasoning before and it tastes fine without it. Also does well if you want to let it cook longer, I have left it on low for 8 hours and turned out great.

Directions

combine all ingredients in crock pot, cook on high for 4-6 hours until chicken is falling apart. Shred with fork and eat in tacos/burritos/on nachoes/by itself.

Serving Size: depends on amount of chicken used, 2 breasts makes about 4 servings
