Ingredients

    1.5c cooked Wild Rice
    3/4c raw oatmeal
    1 large apple, sliced thin or bite-sized chunks
    3/4c dried cranberries
    1/2c raisins
    1/2c chopped nuts
    2tsp cinnamon
    2c milk
    1/4c brown sugar
    1/4tsp salt
    2Tbsp butter

Tips

Garnish with a dollop of vanilla yogurt or a drizzle of maple syrup. Cover leftovers and refrigerate---tastes even better the next day!


Directions

Cook wild rice according to package directions and then drain well. Combine milk, brown sugar, salt, butter in a bowl. Microwave until hot. Mix remaining ingredients in separate bowl. Combine all ingredients into a buttered 2 qt. casserole dish. Bake at 350F for 30 min.

Serving Size: make 8 side portions or 4 generous servings. I divide into 6 average single servings.
