Introduction

Everyone loves a giant shaved meat wrap on the streets. Why not try something a little less fatty and a lot more flavorful? I add pepper and cayenne to taste. You can add Chili powder, onion or garlic powder or anything else you enjoy. **This is a NO MEAT recipe, and it is not low in carbs. Everyone loves a giant shaved meat wrap on the streets. Ingredients

    Wrapper
    -8 Whole Wheat Pita

    "Meat" filling
-2 cup Yves Veggie Ground Round
-1 tbsp ground cinnamon, more if you like it stronger.
-1/2 small white onion, chopped finely
    -pepper, and cayenne to taste

    Cucumber "Relish"
    -2 small/med tomatos, chopped, seeded
-1 1/4 long english cucumbers, chopped, seeded
-1/2 small white onion, chopped finely
    -apx 6 tsp vinegar
    -apx 2 tbsp olive oil

    Tzatziki Sauce
    -apx 10oz Greek yogurt, plain
-2 cloves garlic, grated into yogurt
-3/4 long english cucumber, seeded and grated
-1 tbsp dried dill weed, or to taste
    -1/4 lemon, juiced.

Tips

I like to split my pita into two very thin wraps. Makes my dinner go much much farther. This is a favorite meal in our house.

You can use ground beef if you like. I prefer not to as it is so high in calories and fats, but if you want, it's also delicious. It was in my original recipe but once I came on Spark People I realized that ground beef is not my friend :p

ENJOY!!! Please let me know what you think!!

Directions

Cook the Meat ingredients together and while it's cooking, make the cucumber relish. Let the relish sit in the fridge, covered for the remainder of the cooking process. Mix all 5 tzatziki ingredients, add a dash of sea salt if you desire.

Serving Size: Makes 8 very filling servings.

    Yummy!

I cooked the veggie crumbles with 2 slices of lamb bacon to give it an authentic flavor, while only adding negligible amounts of fat and calories.

Also added lemon to the tzatziki.
