Introduction

Ingredients

    2 slices light whole-wheat bread
    I can't believe it's not butter spray
    1 Boca vegetarian breakfast sausage link (1/2 serving)
    1 slice fat-free american cheese
    optional: sugar-free maple syrup (microwaved for 20 seconds to warm up)

Directions

Microwave sausage link according to package directions, chop, and set aside.

Lay bread slices flat and evenly spray upward-facing sides with ICBINB spray. Flip slices over. Evenly top one slice with American cheese and chopped sausage. Place the other bread slice on top, buttered side up. Set aside.

Using nonstick cooking spray, spray skillet and bring to medium-high heat on the stove. Gently place sandwich in the skillet and cook until lightly browned on the outside and hot on the inside, about 2 minutes per side, flipping carefully with a spatula.

Serve sandwich with syrup for dunking and enjoy! (tastes wonderful with Walden Farms pancake syrup...just a hint)
