Introduction

Ingredients

    1 Can Bush's Black Beans (14.5 Oz)
    1 Can Red Gold Diced Tomatoes w/ Roasted Garlic &
    Onion
    1 Onion (small, diced)
    3.5 cups of Low Sodium Chicken Broth
    1 Can of La Victoria Diced Green Chiles (4 oz)
    1 TBSP Cumin
    2 TSP Garlic (Minced)

Tips

You can add fresh veggies such as tomatoes, cilantro, or diced green onions to extra kick after it has been pureed!


Directions

Saute diced onion in 2 tbsp of olive oil. After 2 minutes or when the onions start to appear glassy add cumin. Continue to saute for another 3-4 minutes or until soft. Add chicken broth, black beans, diced tomatoes, and diced diced green chili peppers. Bring to boil then reduce to medium heat for 15 minutes.

Remove beans from heat and in three batches puree to preferred texture.
