Introduction

Whole wheat pastry flour required.
Almond milk ( I used vanilla) could use plain and reduce calories ( I liked the sweetness)

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat PASTRY flour
    1/2 t baking soda
    1 t baking powder
    1 egg
    1 cup Vanilla Almond Milk
    1/2 cup plain yogurt ( I used greek)

Tips

Absolutely light and fluffy. Delicious with a couple of strawberries on top, a little bit of smart balance light and some sugar free syrup.


Directions

1. Sift together dry ingredients
2. Combine wet ingredients
3. Pour liquid ingredients into dry and stir until dry ingredients are blended with liquid. Do not over mix.
Leave a little lumpy.
4. Fry on hot greased griddle, turning once after bubbles have burst on top side.

Serving Size: Makes 8 medium size pancakes
