Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    1/2 T. salt
    1 T. onion powder
    1 T. garlic powder
    1 T. black pepper
    1/2 tsp oregano
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 stick unsalted butter, softened
    Pork Loin roast (3-4 lbs)
    1 medium sweet onion
    1 cup low sodium chicken broth

Tips

Great easy and flavorful recipe. Serve with black beans and rice and a side salad for a healthy, tasty and filling meal.


Directions

combine first 8 ingredients and stir to combine. Add softened butter and rub mixture on pork loin. Brown in non-stick pan on stovetop. Roughly chop sweet onion and place in bottom of crock pot. Top with browned pork loin and pour chicken broth over all. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
