Ingredients

    8 cups onion Large Diced
    1 Teaspoon Salt
    3 Tablespoons unsalted butter
    6 cups beef broth
    2 cups chicken broth
    1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
    1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    4 Dashes of hot sauce
    Pepper to taste (20 grinds)

Tips

Top with cheese and croutons (not included in calorie count). Or pair with small roast beef and swiss sandwich for dipping!


Directions

Chop onion, sautee in the butter and salt. Let it carmalize for an hour + add all the stock, worsh sauce and hot sauce. Add Parsley Thyme and 4 Bay leaves. Add the pepper, too. Let it simmer for at least 30 minutes. Towards the end, add 1 TBS of Balsamic Vinegar. (helps with the onions)
