My favorite tomato based lasagna! My favorite tomato based lasagna!

Ingredients

    Spaghetti Sauce
    Diced tomatoes
    Ground Turkey
    Italian blend seasoning
    Garlic and Onion powder to taste
    Frozen seasoning blend
    Spinach
    Mushroom
    cottage Cheese
    egg
    Cheese shredded
    Whole wheat oven ready lasagna sheets
    salt and pepper (optional)
    suagar (optional)

Directions

1.Preheat oven 375 degrees
2.Brown turkey or beef in medium size pot, season with salt and pepper or Tony’s, no more than a teaspoon. If using chicken breast cut into bite size pieces and brown as you would the turkey or beef.
3.Add onions and mushrooms to meat until soft
4.Add spinach to warm through season with a little salt or seasoning salt
5.Add tomatoes with liquid and cook for 5-10 minutes. Season with garlic, onion powder, and Italian seasoning
6.Add pasta sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes
7.While pasta sauce is simmering, in a separate bowl whisk egg and add remaining cheese ingredients. Reserve ¼ cup of Italian Cheese blend for top.
