This is a very easy recipe that uses fresh green beans. To speed up prep, I used a bag of Green Line fresh green beans and pre-toasted sliced salad almonds.I doubled this recipe to bring to a small church luncheon and everyone loved it! Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds
Tips
It may take more or less time to boil your beans, depending on how tender you like them.
Directions
Place green beans in medium sauce pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat; cover pot and simmer 25-30 minutes or until beans are tender. Drain and set aside.
Melt butter. Pour over cooked beans and toss. Sprinkle with salt and almonds and toss again. Serve.
Serving Size: makes 4 servings, about 3/4 cup each
