Introduction

I came up with this recipe to satisfy my sweet tooth without eating processed foods or cholesterol bombs. I came up with this recipe to satisfy my sweet tooth without eating processed foods or cholesterol bombs.

Ingredients

Mix the oats (regular and steel cut) and hemp seeds, then drizzle in honey and add peanut butter. Mix all ingredients. It should form a consistency where the crumbles can be stuck together if you press it together. If the mixture is too dry, add more peanut butter. Then add the protein powder and mix it in well. I add the protein powder at this point so that you are more likely to taste the sweetness of the protein powder. Finally, incorporate the chocolate chips. Divide the mixture into two quart size plastic bags. Press the cookie mixture flat in the bags squeezing the air out of the bag as you go. A serving of 1/16 of the mix is a filling snack but I often just reach for a tablespoon at a time to get rid of the taste for baked goods.
