    1 (9 oz) pkg fresh fettuccine (I used 3 oz of whole wheat linguine)
    3 cups of fresh organic basil leaves
    0.25 cup half-and-half
    3 tbsp roasted macadamia nuts
    3 tbsp grated fresh parmesan cheese
    2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
    0.75 tsp salt
    0.5 tsp black pepper (freshly ground is best)
    3 cups raw broccoli (steamed)
    0.5 cup frozen peas (steamed)


Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
While pasta cooks, place basil and remaining ingredients in a food processor; process until smooth. Combine basil mixture and pasta in a large bowl, tossing to coat.

Toss in steamed broccoli and peas to add some veggies!
