Ingredients

    - Instant quaker oats original: 1/4 cup
    - Ground cinnamon: 1/5 tbsp
    - dash of salt
    - Water: 1/5 cup + 2 cups for bain marie
    - Strawberries: 1/4 cup

Tips

you can change the consistency of the oatmeal by playing with the water amounts. for a thicker porridge use less water, and for a more runny porridge add more water.
other good toppings are blueberries, apples, pears, maple syrup, brown sugar.
there's a lot of room for playing around


Directions

in a medium pot bring water to a boil. in the meantime pour oatmeal and water to a smaller pot. when the water has reached boiling point place smaller pot in pot of boiling water. stir consistently for 2 minutes. add cinnamon and salt. stir for an additional 2 minutes. let sit for 1 minute. pour into bowl and enjoy (:
