Introduction

yummy, full of fat but also good fiber. They are rich so your serving size may be a bit smaller. yummy, full of fat but also good fiber. They are rich so your serving size may be a bit smaller.

Ingredients

    In a bowl Mix
-2 cups of creamy peanut butter
-2 tbsp of canola (or vegetable) oil
Slowly add the powder sugar (1.5 cups) mix till smooth.

Grind the oats to a fine flour texure (I use my magic bullet for this) add this in. As you get towards the end of it you may need to work it in with your hands. It should get to be alot like thick cookie dough, it should hold it's shape but not crumple apart. You should taste it here and make sure it is sweet enough but still nutty enough.

Press mixture into 8x8 pan or to your desired thickness. Melt chocolate chips then mix in a tbsp of peanut butter (this will help keep the chocolate from cracking as you cut it) and spread over top of mixture. store in a cool place, I enjoy them best when they are kept in the refridgerator. Cut into 24 peices and enjoy.

Tips

I always think they taste better the next day, so if you plan on serving them at a party make them early. Also if you plan on serving them at a party, don't add peanut butter to the chocolate. Instead, let the chocolate harden at room temp, cut and then refridgerate.
