Ingredients

31/2 lbs Ribs or Roast w/bone in
1/2 Bottle Catsup 1 Can Tomato Paste
4-5 Cloves Garlic & 1 large Onion Chopped
1 Small Red Pepper 4 Ribs Celery Chopped
1-2 Bay Leaves 1 Small Head Cabbage
1 teaspoon @ Sage, Cinnamon, Allspice, Cloves, & Cumin Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste 1-2 Sprigs Mint
Directions
Brown meat on all sides (*put in crockpot or slow cooker), cover with water then add all the other ingredients except cabbage. **Cook on low 4-5 hours or 6-8 hours on high until meat almost falls off of the bone then add small head of cabbage, cook until cabbage is done.
Take 1-2 Springs of Mint & put in bottom of large serving bowl then pour Sopas (Soup) over it.
Serve with Sourdough bread, salad & dill pickles.
COOK TIME:
4-5 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low
SERVES:
8-10 People Large soup bowl
*This can be cooked in a large pan then add water as juice cooks down & remember to stir occasionally as the tomato paste & cumin will stick to the bottom of the pan.
**When cooking in crock (or slow) cookers you don't have to add more water or stir.
You can freeze this if any is left over.
