My family and I own a VitaMix and we use it daily to create crazy concoctions! This has been one of our favorites!


My family and I own a VitaMix and we use it daily to create crazy concoctions! This has been one of our favorites!



Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1/2 banana
    5 large strawberries (frozen, unsweetened)
    1 large granny smith apple (quartered)
    1 kiwi (peeled)
    1 navel orange (peeled and seeded)
    1 c. spinach
    1 c. kirkland greek yogurt (costco brand)
    1 carrot, raw (medium sized)
    1/4 cup orange juice (or juice of choice)
    1 sprig fresh mint (about 2 tbsp)
    2 T chia seed
    2 c. water
    2 c. ice

Tips

*If you are using a traditional blender, use your own discretion of how small to cut fruit and vegetables. Also, some ingredients like the carrots and the apple may not work well with an average blender.


Directions

Place ingredients in VitaMix or blender and blend to desired consistency. In our VitaMix it takes about 5-6 minutes to blend.

Serving Size: makes 8 1-cup servings
