Ingredients

    White Rice, long grain, 1 cup
    Curry powder, 1 tsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
    *Onion powder, 1 tbsp
    Cilantro, dried, 2 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 2 tbsp
    Chili powder, 1 tsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp
    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    Chicken Broth, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    Bush's, Black Beans, 1.5 cup
    *Old el Paso Refried Beans - Fat Free, 6.5 cup
    *Hunts diced toamtoes, 6 cup
    Chicken Broth, 3 cup (8 fl oz)
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
    Cilantro, dried, 1 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp

Tips

Bring soup to a boil then decrease heat. Stir often to prevent sticking to pan bottom. Cook in as short a time as possible to prevent sticking.


Directions

Half the chili powder and cayenne pepper; half for the rice/half for the beans. Per-pair rice using everything above the beans. Then combine rice with the remaining ingredients.

Serving Size: 11-8oz servings
