Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 lb box whole wheat pasta
1 c chopped onions
1 c chopped peppers
1 can mushrooms chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp basil
2 tbsp grated parmesan
Tips
You can substitute meats. I have made with ground turkey before. Can leave out parmesan if you want. Pretty versatile. I serve with a salad and biscuits or rolls.
Directions
Start heating up water for pasta. Cook up ground beef. Drain. Water should be boiling for pasta by now. Add a little salt if desired to water. Cook pasta. Add 1 tbsp olive oil to pan. Add chopped onions, mushrooms and peppers. Cook for about ten minutes. Reintroduce ground beef. When pasta is done drain. I add tomato and cream of mushroom soup to pan pasta was in. Mix. Add cooked pasta and ground beef. Add seasonings and parmesan. Mix. Serve.
