A lovely, easy to make snack.

Original recipe had chocolate chips, instead of sultanas - and double the sugar. Too sweet. Try this healthier version.

Original recipe had chocolate chips, instead of sultanas - and double the sugar. Too sweet. Try this healthier version.

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    2.5 cups rice bubbles (rice crispies)
    0.5 cup sultanas
    0.5 cup golden syrup
    0.25 cup caster sugar
    0.5 cup peanut butter


Directions

Line a slice pan with non stick paper
Heat golden syrup over low heat, still in sugar until dissolved. Stir in peanut putter until smooth.

In another bowl, mix rice bubbles with sultanas. Add golden syrup mixture. Mix quickly and spread on to lined pan. (Work quickly - it gets sticky)

Refrigerate for an hour. Cut into 24
