Ingredients

8 oz or half a pound of pitted prunes
8 oz or half a pound of dried figs, cut off stems & cut in half
8 oz or half pound of dried cranberries or raisins
1.5 oz to 2 oz of dried Senna tea leaves
    1/2 cup of Prune juice
    1/4 cup of Lemon juice
    2 1/2 cups of water

Tips

Store in jam jars or plastic container, keep in frigerator or freezer.
Dose 1 teaspoon to 2 tablespoons per day, spread on toast or put in oatmeal or in a smoothie. Increase or decrease dosage as needed or as tolerance dictates. I like this very much on my toast and in my fruit smoothie.

Directions

Measure out fruit and cut stems off figs & cut figs in half. Place water, lemon juice and fruit in a pot, bring to a boil & then simmer for 15 minutes. Turn off heat & let sit for 15 minutes. Put batch through a food processor or meat grinder or blender with the prune juice till smooth. The consistency is similar to apple butter.
