Use as a salad dressing, to top a baked potato, or anywhere you would use salsa. Yum! Use as a salad dressing, to top a baked potato, or anywhere you would use salsa. Yum!
Number of Servings: 6


    4 med Tomatillo's chopped
    4 med Tomato's chopped
    1/2 cup Cilantro chopped
    1 med Avacado chopped
    4 med Scallions or Green Onions chopped
    3 Cloves Garlic chopped
    1 Lime - use both Juice & Zest
    1 cup LowFat Buttermilk
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    (Recipe has 1 tsp each in the nutritional info)


Chop and Mix 1st 6 ingredients

Wash Lime. Roll lime with hands to warm up. Zest and then cut lime in 1/2 and squeeze in juice. Careful of any seeds.

Mix in Buttermilk, S & P and any other spices. (sometimes I add in Italian seasoning or random spices from cabinet)

Chill in fridge for 30mins or over night. Serve. Keeps for about a week in the fridge.
