Introduction

Ingredients

    8 oz. ground Turkey, browned
    4 c. dry Pinto Beans
    2 small carrots, grated
    4 medium green onions, diced
    2 Tbsp. chopped Cilantro
    1 Tbsp. Paprika
    1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder, or 1 tsp. fresh garlic, grated
    1 tsp. Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper Seasoning, or Lemon pepper

Tips

I like to top with chopped green onions and 1 Tbsp. Cotija Cheese.


Directions

In large dutch oven pan or stock pan, soak beans for 2 hours or overnight. Brown Ground Turkey in skillet. Add meat, and vegetables to pot of beans. Add seasonings and cook until beans are tender.
