Ingredients
-
6 1/2 Cups Flour
1 1/2 TBSP Sea Salt
1 1/2 TBSP Dry Active Yeast
3 Cups Lukewarm Water
Tips
The dough will keep in the fridge for two weeks. This can also be made into four one pound boule loaves!
Directions
Mix all the ingredients in an upright mixer with a dough hook until blended. Allow the dough to rise for two hours.
Put the dough in the fridge over night to set, it will be easier to work with too!
Preheat the oven to 450, placing a baking stone in the oven at this time. Meanwhile, shape a loaf and allow it to rise for about 20 minutes. Remove the stone, dust with cornmeal, and place loaf on the stone. Make several cuts along the top of the loaf. As you put it in the oven, put one cup of water into a separate baking dish on the lower rack (helps to steam and crisp the bread). Bake for 30 minutes!
Serving Size: Two 2 Lbs Loaves; 15 slices per loaf
