Aldi Extra Lean Beef Mince, 17 1/2 oz (500 gram)
Heinz Big Red Reduced Salt Tomato Soup, condensed,14oz (400 gram) can
Onions, raw, 1 large chopped
Garlic, 2 cloves, crushed
Oregano, ground, 2 tsp
Basil, ground, 2 tsp
White Wine, 1/4 cup
Beef stock, home-prepared, 1 cup
Mushrooms, fresh, 8 medium, chopped
Red Ripe Tomatoes, 3 Italian tomato, chopped
Pepper, black, 1 tsp
Tomato Paste, 1/4 cup
Cabbage, savoy, fresh, 10 cups, shredded
Tips
You can put the sauce on raw cabbage but I prefer to parcook it a little it makes it more palatable.
Directions
Spray skillet with canola spray and saute onion and garlic for 3 minutes, add ground beef and brown. Add all other ingredients (except the cabbage) and cook for approximately 30 minutes.
Microwave or blanch the cabbage until just tender. Serve the cabbage with the sauce. Top with a small amount of parmesan if required.
