Introduction

Ingredients

    You need
    lemons
    honey
    garlic
    root ginger
    pinch of cayenne
    Optional: Green ginger wine, brandy, or whiskey or some such

Tips

This will make you sweat, so is great for breaking a fever. If giving to kids, make sure they are warmly wrapped after.


Directions

Infuse grated root ginger and pressed garlic in hot water for 20-30 minutes. Strain and store in the fridge, its OK for a few days. This is the base, make it strong!
Add some of the base to a cup and add hot water. Stir in honey til dissolved then at the last minute, add lemon juice & shot of alcohol. Top with a pinch of cayenne.
sip slowly. Oooh that's better!
