Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 to 2.5 pounds corn beef brisket with seasoning packet
    1.5 pounds of carrots or baby carrots
    1.5 to 2 pounds of red potatoes
    1 large onion
    1 medium to large head of cabbage
    2 bay leaves
    6 peppercorns

Tips

Times do not have to be exact and it will turn out just fine total cook time should be about 4 to 4.5 hours


Directions

Prep
Heat a tea kettle of water (about 32 to 64 oz) to boil
Cut potatoes into roughly 1 inch pieces (or leave whole if using baby reds)
Cut carrots into roughly the same size
Cut onion into eighths
Cook
Place onions, carrots and potatoes into Crock Pot
Add Brisket to pot
Add Seasoning packet, bay leaves, and peppercorns
Cover everything in pot with water
Put lid on and cook for 120-150 minutes on High
Stir food in Crock Pot
Cut Cabbage into eighths and add to Crock Pot
Cook for an additional 120 minutes
