Introduction

Ingredients

1 lb beef steak (sliced in thin strips)
1 (12 oz) can O'doul's non-alcholic brew
2 Tbls. Tamari or soy sauce
1 Tbl. ground ginger
1 turnip or rutabega (cut into strips or pie shaped pieces)
1 large head of bok choy chopped into strips
1 large onion sliced
3 stalks celery cut into diagonal pieces
8 dry shiitake mushrooms
1 TBl granulated sugar
Tips
This goes well with rice or rice noodles or bean noodles.
Directions
Slice steak against grain to make thin strips.
In medium sized bowl, mix beer, soysauce,ginger and Chinese five spice. Add beef to mixture and marinade for at least 15 minutes.
To reconstitute dry Shiitake mushrooms, soak in water or beer until soft. Then remove stems and slice.
Chop onion, bok choy, turnip, and celery.
Spray large frying pan with cooking oil. Add marinaded meat and stir fry for about 5 minutes. Then add vegetable and marinade, and mushroom liquids.
Stir fry until vegetables are cooked but still firm and liquid is reduced (about ten minutes). Test the sauce and add sugar to taste.
