Ingredients
-
3 Wasa Fiber Short Bread - Crushed for Bread Crumbs
dash pepper
dash onion powder
dash garlic powder optional
1/2 Cup Egg Substitue
1 tsp. Hot Sauce
1 Lg. Onion cut up into 20 medium sized rings, reserve the shorties for other recipes, we just want the big boys!
Tips
Pretty good, I ate mine with a drizzle of hot sauce instead of ketchup or sauces...
Directions
Combine your crumbs and seasonings, pepper & powders to give your rings some nice flavor!
I also use Wasa short bread it's a bit darker and grainier also 10 less calories per serving...
Prepare the egg by adding your desired amount of Hot Sauce to your egg substitute.
Toss your onion rings in the egg to coat let soak a few minutes so your coating sticks, then dip into bread crumbs one by on. Place on non stick foil into hot oven bake 370 degress 10 mins, flip bake 10 mins more! presto!
Serving Size: Make 2 hefty servings of 10 rings each - booya!
