Ingredients

    1 9 oz can pureed tomatoes
    1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes(no salt added)
    1 cup chopped onions
    1 medium turnip(peeled and cubed)
    4 small red potatoes(cubed)
    1 medium sweet potato(peeled and cubed)
    40 oz bag frozen mixed vegetables
    8 cups water
    1 tbsp ground cumin
    1 tsp oregano
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a large cooking pot. Cook for about 1 hour or until potatoes and turnips are tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Makes 8 2 cup servings
