Ingredients

    chicken breast- 14 oz
    3-4 cups cooked brown rice
    3 med carrots cut into slices
    2 celery stalks cut into slices
    1/4 med onion chopped
    1 cup water
    32 oz chicken broth
    1 basil leaf
    garlic powder
    personal preference seasoning

Tips

I try and use organic ingrediants. This is a favorite with my GF husband.


Directions

precook the brown rice according to instructions
cook the chicken breasts by grilling, boiling, frying etc.
cut into bite sized pieces
cut up veggies and cook in the broth
add water, cooked rice,cooked chicken into the veggies and broth, simmer and season
