Ingredients

    1lb. of Lean Ground Beef
    2 med. onions chopped (1 1/2 cups)
    carrots chopped (1 cup)
    Beef Broth (2 cups)
    1 8oz. can of stewed tomatoes (chopped or cut up)
    1 tsp. of Basil
    1/2 cup of barley (uncooked)
    5 cups of Water
    3 Tbs. of Ketchup
    1 Bay Leaf (1 tsp. bay leaf crumbled if want)
    1 Tbs. of Black Pepper

Directions

Brown Hamburger and Drain. Add all ingredients to crock-pot and let cook on high for about 4 hrs.
