Introduction

Take the hassle out of making your smoothies by cutting the fruit at once and freezing individual portions. Take the hassle out of making your smoothies by cutting the fruit at once and freezing individual portions.

Ingredients

    4 cups peaches, sliced
    4 medium bananas, cut in halves
    32 medium strawberries
    4 cup ice cubes
    2 cup pineapple juice

    8 quart-size freezer bags

Tips

If smoothie is slushier than you like, add approximately 1/4-1/2 cup almond or soy milk (or dairy, more juice, water...whatever your preference). Don't forget to enter those calories separately!


Directions

Divide pineapple juice among ice cube trays. Freeze until solid. Divide 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup peach slices, 4 strawberries, 0.5 cup ice cubes and 0.25 cup pineapple juice cubes into quart size freezer bags for each individual serving.

To serve, thaw until slightly slushy, then blend.
