Introduction

Simple, good for potlucks, best to eat the first day so that the noodles stay crisp. Tastes great after sitting, too, just best to add the noodles at serving. Ingredients

    Salad
    8 cups chopped cabbage (mix of any you like)
    1/4 c. finely diced onion
    1/3 c. sliced almonds
    2 packages Oriental flavor ramen noodles, crumbled

    Dressing
    1 flavor packet from ramen noodles
    1/2 c. canola oil
    1/3 c. rice vinegar
    3 T. soy sauce
    3 T. sesame oil
    2 T. sugar

Directions

1. Prep vegetables or use already prepared items (coleslaw mix and/or chopped salad onions).
2. Toss cabbage, onions, almonds and noodles together in a large bowl.
3. Whisk together dressing ingredients in a separate bowl, adding oils last.
4. Pour over cabbage mixture and stir thoroughly to combine.
