    2 c. brown rice, uncooked
    5. c. of chicken broth or water with chicken consume added
    2 Tbs. onion chopped
    2 Tbs. bell pepper chopped
    2 Tbs. frozen corn
    2 Tbs. frozen peas
    2 Tbs. fresh chopped cilantro
    2 Tbs. frozen carrots
    1/2 C. of any pasta sauce


I find a frozen mixture of onions and peppers in the freezer section at walmart and I use this in several things, like this.
In a sauce pan bring chicken broth to a boil and add brown rice, pasta sauce and veggies. Cook by the directions on the bag of rice, abount 30 to 40 minutes or till liquid is absorbed.
