Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
    1/2 cup long cooking rice
    6 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 tbsp. dry minced onion
    6 cups water

Directions

Brown ground beef with onion. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 1 hour.

    Very Good
    Very good! It's a solid, basic recipe that I enjoyed as is but could certainly alter if I wanted too. I made enough to freeze the leftovers, but there weren't any! My husband ate them all. lol
    I didn't add the rice, but I'm sure it's tasty with that too.

    Very Good
    I made this last night and it was good.. I made it with ground turkey, which I think takes away from the flavour.. next time I am going to have to add some more spices to it to or use lean ground beef. - 2/5/08
