Burgers not just for cookouts anymore! Burgers not just for cookouts anymore!
Number of Servings: 4


    1 lb. lean ground turkey
    1/2 cup fat free shredded cheese (cheddar or other if preferred)
    2 tablespoons fat free ranch salad dressing
    4 slices onion
    4 1/4" thick slices tomato
    4 romaine lettuce leaves
    8 small slices french bread


Combine cheese and dressing in small bowl and set aside.
Shape turkey in four 1/2" thick patties. Season with salt, pepper or favorite seasoning(s).
Spray grill with non-stick spray. Grill burgers on covered grill (medium heat) for about 15 minutes or until cooked through turning once. Spoon cheese mixture onto each burger a few minutes before removing from grill so cheese can melt slightly. Once placing cheese mixture, grill bread until lightly toasted. Place each burger onto grilled bread, top with slice of tomato and lettuce.

Makes 4 -1/4 lb. burgers.
