Introduction

Ingredients

    Chick Peas, 4 cup
    Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    Ginger Root, 6 tsp
    Garlic, 8 tsp
    Chili powder, 2 tbsp
    Curry powder, 1.33 tbsp
    Cinnamon, ground, .1 tsp
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 3.5 cup, chopped or sliced
    Soy Milk, 1 cup (or regular milk)
    Yogurt, plain, low fat, 2 cup

Tips

I have found that this is much better the second or third day. It lasts in the fridge as long as the yogurt or milk are good and this recipe make so much that I usually eat it every days for 2 weeks.

The dry ingredients can be combined and frozen for a quick crock-pot ready meal, but don't freeze the dairy.


Directions

1) Mix everything except dairy in the crock pot. Stir well and cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally.
2) After cooking, add milk and yogurt and stir well.
3) Serve over rice
