Introduction

This is a recipe my Memere & Mom always made. Not sure where they got it, but I love it! It's not an apple "pie", it's a "crisp". Enjoy! This is a recipe my Memere & Mom always made. Not sure where they got it, but I love it! It's not an apple "pie", it's a "crisp". Enjoy!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    6 Apples of your choice - cut (I like Cortland)
    1cup & 1 Tbsp. of sugar
    1tsp. Cinnamon
    1 1/2 sticks of butter (melted)
    1cup Flour
    1 egg

Directions

In a 9" pie pan:
Fill 3/4 full with the cut apples

Mix the 1 Tbsp of sugar & 1 tsp of cinnamon together & sprinkle over the cut apples.

In a Mixing Bowl:
Mix the.... 1 1/2 sticks of butter (melted)
1cup of flour
1cup of sugar
& 1 egg... together

* pour over apples

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Serve hot with ice cream if you wish.

Serving Size: Makes 10 pieces of a pie
