Introduction
Just throwing some together! Just throwing some together!Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
8 ounces of ground beef
6 Jalapeno peppers
6 Habanero peppers
4 Medium-sized slicing tomatoes
1 Yellow Onion
2lbs of canned red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
1lb of crushed tomatoes
2 bouillon cubes
rice (optional)
1 tbsp of cayenne pepper
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of onion powder
2 tbsp of chili powder
Tips
Warning: this chilli is pretty spicy.
Directions
Start cooking your beef in the bottom of a large cooking pan.
Cut up your tomatoes, your peppers and your onion and throw them into a food processor. I use a blender. Blend it all together into a tomato soup-like consistency.
Add your chili-mush to the beef when it is thoroughly cooked.
After this add your cans of kidney beans (rinse and drain them if you don't want the excess sodium!) and crushed tomatoes.
Add bouillon cubes for flavour.
Next add your cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and chili powder.
Bring it all to a boil, then cover and let it simmer for two hours.
Serving Size: makes around 8 servings (for big eaters!)
Number of Servings: 8
