Introduction

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 lb. cooked and cubed/shredded skinless chicken breast
    16 cups low sodium fat free chicken broth(4 quarts)
    1 C chopped celery
    1 C chopped carrots
    1 tsp pepper
    1 tsp chicken base
    4 oz spatzle or small/skinny egg noodles

Tips

Really good with homemade chicken salad sandwich.


Directions

Boil or pan fry chicken. Let cool and cube or shred. set aside. In big pot add the next 5 ingredients plus the cooked chicken; bring to a boil. lower heat to a soft boil and cook until carrots and celery are just tender; approx 15 minutes. Add noodles and slow boil for time suggested on the noodle package.

Serving Size: Makes 10 1 1/2 cups servings
