Introduction
A simple breakfast pizza made with pizza dough, egg substitute, bacon and reduced fat cheddar cheese. A simple breakfast pizza made with pizza dough, egg substitute, bacon and reduced fat cheddar cheese.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
Pizza Dough - enough to put a raw, 1/4" layer on the bottom of the muffin tins
1.5 C Egg Substitute
3 strips Bacon
1 Cup (or less) Cheddar Cheese (reduced Fat)
Tips
I found it easier to use the "small" balls in the bottom of the tins. When I used one flat piece of dough for the base, it would always pull away from the sides.
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Greese 6 LARGE muffin tins (adjust amounts for smaller muffin tins).
3. Tear pizza dough into small "balls". Place in the bottom of the muffin tins . . . I used 6 balls per tin.
4. Place 1/2 C Egg substitute in each tin.
5. Crumble bacon and divide between 6 tins.
6. Divide cheese among the 6 tins.
7. Bake for 15 minutes.
8. let cool a minute or two before removing from tins . . they will fall a bit, which is normal.
