Ingredients

    Crust: 2 C. Almond Meal/Almond Flour
    1 Egg White
    1 C. Shredded Sharp Cheddar
    3 T. Butter or Earth Balance
    1 t. Italian Herbs
    1/2 t. pepper
    Process together into a dough for top crust

    1 parsnip, diced
    1 carrot, diced
    1/2 onion diced
    1 stalk celery, diced
    1.5 C. frozen cut green beans
    2 C. turkey breast diced
    1 C. low sodium broth
    1 T. fresh rosemary minced
    1 large clove garlic, minced
    1 t. xanthan gum

Tips

Versatile. Can be made with other meats, veggies, vegan ingredients. Play with it.


Directions

Lightly brown parsnips and carrots in a sprayed skillet, add onion, garlic clove and saute until just cooked, add rosemary, turkey and broth. Once it somes to a boil, sprinkle in xanthan gum stirring until thickened. Add frozen green beans to help cool.

Process crust ingredients into dough and press between two sheets of parchment/wax paper. Place crust over pie mix and seal and patch edges. Cut a little air hole in the middle.

Bake at 350 degrees until golden (about 25-30 minutes)
