Introduction

This is a great breakfast treat! It takes about 4-6 hours in the crockpot on low. You can decide if you want it in an oatmeal consistency or let it cook longer to a "bready" consistency. Ingredients

    1 cup Quinoa
    1/2 Cup Coffee Mate FF Vanilla
    1/2 Cup of Milk
    1 Cup Water
    3 TBSP Brown Sugar
    2 TBSP Crushed Walnuts
    1.5 TBSP Butter
    1.5 Banana's Mashed

    Mash Banana's and set aside

    Mix brown sugar and walnuts together in a small bowl.

    Make sure you spray your crockpot with cooking spray or use this trick: Put water in your crockpot (not from the recipe) and then set a casserole dish inside the crockpot and mix/crock recipe in that. It allows the recipe to get the moisture without creating a film or being overyly runny.

    Mix quinoa, creamer, milk, water and butter in crockpot. Add banana and distribute evenly. Finally, add walnut/brown sugar mix and stir. Let cook on low 4-6 hours.

    Alterations: If you don't want to use Coffee Mate, use cream and vanilla extract. You can also substitute almond/soy milk. Another suggestion was to use Coffee Mate Sugar Cookie Creamer (but this was not available).
