*Flour, white, 0.24 cup (remove) = 300g
*Margarine, soft, 0.44 cup (remove) = 100g
Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp (remove)
Egg, fresh, 1 extra large (remove)
Yeast, bakers, 0.7 ounce (remove) = 20g
Milk, 3.25%, 150 mL (remove)
Granulated Sugar, 0.33 tsp (remove)
*Breadcrumbs, 20 gram(s) (remove)
Apples, fresh, 1500 grams (remove)
Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp (remove)
Cinnamon, 1 teasp
Egg, fresh, 0.2 large to paint dough
Tips
Amount of apple can be freely increased/decreased.
If apples are too juicy, squeeze some juice out manually after mincing.
To make less calories: skip sugars, use skim milk, use wholewheat flour, make dough thinner.
Directions
Dough
1. Flour+Margerine to mix.
2. Create a little hole in the flour, add 2 tbsp sugar, 1 egg
3. Heat up milk + 2 teaspoon sugar, mix in yeast, wait 1 min
4. Mix milk-yeast into the flour-mix. Knead the dough.
5. Separate dough in two parts.
Apples
6. Clean, separate from skin, mince.
Prepare for Baking
7. Place 1 part dough in baking dish, cover the bottom fully.
8. Spread the breadcrumbs on the dough.
9. Spread minced apples on dough.
10. Spread 2 tbsp (6 teasp) sugar, cinnamon on top
11. Cover with 2nd part dough.
Baking
12. Makes holes with a fork
13. Paint some mixed eggs on top.
14. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 25 min.
15. Cut into 1x1 inch (2.5x2.5 cm) squares.
Gives about 40 times 1 inch pieces.
Total weight about 1320g.
1 piece about 33g.
