Introduction
quick & easy, a little bit spicy! quick & easy, a little bit spicy!Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
-
5 cups of air-popped popcorn
2 tspn white cheddar popcorn seasoning
.25 tsp ground red cayenne pepper (season to taste- a little goes a long way!)
4+ short sprays of butter flavored cooking spray/(Butter Flavored Pam)
Salt to taste
Tips
you can leave out the butter-flavored cooking spray, but the powder will have trouble sticking to the popcorn. It is very low in calories/fat and a little bit goes a long way. If you use a big bowl, you'll have more surface area to evenly distribute the spray so that you don't have to use very much.
Directions
1) air pop popcorn. (either use an air popper, or microwave popcorn kernels in a paper bag)
2) While the popcorn is still warm, pour popcorn into a large bowl, big enough to easily spread out the popcorn.
3) Spray lightly with butter flavored spray, quickly turning the popcorn to coat. Sprinkle cheddar powder and cayenne pepper. stir or shake to coat.
Spray again if more butter flavor is needed. add more seasoning or salt to taste.
