Ingredients

    1/2 can reduced fat crescent rolls
    1 Granny Smith apple,peeled and cut into 8 pieces
    3/4 c. splenda
    2 Tbsp cinnamon
    2 Tbsp butter
    3 oz Sprite

Directions

Makes 4 Dumplings

Take 2 apple pieces and place in 1 crescent triangle. Wrap into a dumpling
Melt butter, brush all over dumplings
Mix splenda and cinnamon and roll each dumpling in the mixture
Place in a small baking dish
Sprinkle remaining splenda mixture over top
Carefully pour sprite all around.

Bake at 425 for 15-20 min. They should be golden brown and bubbly.

    this recipe is soooo good! I used the Splenda Brown sugar too! Just like apple cobbler, the hard part is stopping with just one serving! - 5/8/09
