Introduction

Ingredients

    brocolli
    garlic powder
    corn starch
    soy sauce
    oyster sauce
    sugar
    hot pepper sauce

Tips

1. Can substitute hot pepper flakes for hot pepper sauce.
2. Can use fresh garlic - chopped fine - four cloves minimum.


Directions

1. Wash and cut up brocolli into bit sized pieces.
2. In two small bowls, wisk together:
a. corn starch, garlic powder, hot pepper sauce with 1/4 cup warm water -- dissolve completely.
b. soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar -- dissolve completely.
3. Heat wok or large skillet over medium flame, with 2 tbsp oil.
4. When hot, toss in brocolli and stir 1 minute.
5. Add garlic water mixture, and keep shifting the brocolli -- allow to absorb most of the garlic water.
6. Add dark sauce mixture, completely coating brocolli, stir for one minute.
7. Serve immediately with white rice.

Serving Size: makes 4 1-cup servings
