    Ingredients:

    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic, 3 cloves (remove)
    Ginger Root, 1 tsp (remove)
    Tomato Paste, 0.5 cup (remove)
    Tomato Sauce, 1 cup (remove)
    *Rooster Brand Coconut Milk, 1 cup (remove)
    *Chick Peas, 1.5 cup (remove)
    *Canola Oil, 3 tbsp (remove)
    Curry powder, 2 tsp (remove)
    *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Ground Cayanne Pepper, 3 tsp (remove)

Tips

I added masala spice too. Add more or less curry to taste. Even the kids loved this recipe!


Directions

Fry Onions in oil til opaque. Add garlic and ginger and spices. Add tomato paste. Fry for a minute to get paste to a dark red. Add tomato sauce and coconut milk. Whisk together to make it smooth. Add chick peas and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over brown rice.
